Derry Township School District Facebook The Board of School Directors for the Derry Township School District has scheduled a special meeting on Thursday, August 12 at 6:00 p.m. Students who have indicated that they would like to participate in school through our virtual learning program will be enrolled in the appropriate grade level coursework. The additional funding brings the maximum standard rebate to 1,105 for both homeowners and renters, up from the usual 650. If you believe CAOLA is the right educational platform to explore for your learner, please reach out to their counselor. Eligible senior citizens and people with disabilities will see enhanced rebates through this years Property Tax/Rent Rebate program t hanks to a one-time infusion of additional funds in the 2022-23 state budget. The CAOLA online learning team also includes Derry Township Administrators, Instructional Coaches, Counselors, and Support Staff who seek to ensure that personalized learning provides growth opportunities for all students. These courses are designed and instructed by Edison and Accelerate Education, rather than Derry Township teachers however, still offer grade level appropriate curriculum and instruction.
Students enrolled in CAOLA are provided with a laptop and online courses through the Capital Area Intermediate Unit. CAOLA is a fully online learning option for students at Derry Township School District.
